TUXEDO Computers is one of the companies betting big on Linux laptops, and this week it announced a new model that’s said to come with specs that easily set it apart from the rest of similar devices.
The so-called TUXEDO Book BA15 is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U chip for the creation of what the company calls “the world’s first AMD-only and Linux-preinstalled laptop.”
The BA15 excels in terms of battery performance, as the 91,25 Wh unit could even offer up to 25 hours per charge in the dedicated power-saving idle mode.
“Even in more practical every day situations the 15.6 inch laptop lasts for very long times, so that you can do your daily work, websurfing, mail-writing and such things for up to 13 hours, even 1080p videostreaming at 50% of display brightness results in up to 10 hours of battery life,” TUXEDO Computers explains.
