We’ve been informed by Vivaldi’s Ruarí Ødegaard about the general availability of the second Release Candidate (RC) version of the upcoming Vivaldi 1.6 web browser for GNU/Linux, macOS, and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Dubbed as Vivaldi Snapshot 1.6.689.32, the second RC of Vivaldi 1.6 was released on December 13, 2016, just one day after the first Release Candidate version, which rebased the web browser on the open-source Chromium 55.0.2883.92 project and resolved a major regression for macOS users in regard to swiping through history.
