Canonical's Dustin Kirkland informed the Ubuntu community about the availability of the Docker 1.10 Linux container engine for every supported architecture in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus).
Ubuntu 16.04 LTS launches next week, on April 21, 2016, and Canonical has started revealing many of its upcoming features. One of those, which may interest LXD users, is support for the Docker 1.10 Linux container engine on every Ubuntu architecture and the ability to run Docker inside LXD.
