System76 devs continue to work on the first release of their Ubuntu-based Pop!_OS Linux distro, which is expected to land on the same day as Canonical’s Ubuntu 17.10 (Artful Aardvark) operating system, on October 19, 2017.
As you’re aware, System76 teamed up last month with elementary OS’ devs to work on an all-new installer for Pop!_OS Linux, but it doesn’t look like it will be ready for next month’s release of the GNU/Linux distribution, but there will be a separate ISO available for those who want to test the installer, which will be implemented by default for the second release of the OS, based on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.
