Slackware-Based SlackEX Distro Updated with Linux Kernel 4.12, KDE 4.14.35 LTS

After informing us of the release of his CruxEX 3.3 2017 GNU/Linux distribution, developer Arne Exton recently brought to our attention that his SlackEX distro got a new important update.

Based on the latest stable Slackware 14.2 operating system, SlackEX Build 170831 is out to replace the 4.10.2-x86_64-exton kernel used in previous releases with the more recent 4.12.9-x86_64-exton kernel, which was patched by Arne Exton with support for modern hardware components and everything else you might need.
