Today, November 17, 2016, Red Hat, the world’s leading provider of open source solutions, was pleased to announce the general availability of Microsoft’s SQL Server on Linux Public Preview for its Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system.
The news comes just one day after Canonical’s announcement that the Public Preview of Microsoft SQL Server on Linux was made available to users of the popular Ubuntu operating system, and it now looks like you can install SQL Server on your Red Hat Enterprise Linux computers as well, enjoying a powerful and advanced relational database management system.
