New CloudLinux 7 Kernel Released to Beta to Fix the XFS "No Ops on Block" Error

CloudLinux’s Mykola Naugolnyi is announcing today, January 30, 2017, the release of a new kernel update for the CloudLinux 7 operating system series to the Beta channels.

From the release announcement, it would appear that the CloudLinux 7 kernel has been updated to version 3.10.0-427.36.1.lve1.4.35, and it attempts to address the “no ops on block” error for XFS filesystems.

All CloudLinux 7 users running Beta kernel 3.10.0-427.36.1.lve1.4.33 or a previous version are urged to update to the new kernel version as soon as possible. The new kernel build is available for download from CloudLinux’s updates-testing repository.

To install kernel 3.10.0-427.36.1.lve1.4.35 on your CloudLinux 7 operating system, all you have to do is to open a terminal emulator or switch to a virtual console and run the following command as root.
