Linux Mint project leader Clement Lefebvre published earlier May’s installation of the “Monthly News” newsletter to inform the community about the latest developments in Linux Mint 18.
Last month we had some major announcements regarding the development of the upcoming Linux Mint 18 “Sarah” computer operating system, and we have learned that it will share the same GNU/Linux technologies as the Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) operating system, such as Linux kernel 4.4 LTS.
