Jerry Bezencon, the creator of the Ubuntu-based Linux Lite operating system for personal computers, kindly informs Softpedia today about an updated version of the in-house built Lite Software app.
Now that Linux Lite 3.2 has been released, and many users are already enjoying the lightweight distribution on their PCs, the developer is hard at work to improve various parts of the operating system. Lite Software is the graphical package manager in Linux Lite, used for installing, updating or removing software packages.
“Lite Software has been updated. New features include Internet connection check, better descriptions, improved Install Updates feature,” said Jerry Bezencon in an email sent to Softpedia. “A huge thank you to Ralphy for contributing some excellent code recently in both of these applications.”
