Now that the KDE Applications 17.08 software suite got its second point release, it’s time for the KDE developers to concentrate their efforts on the next major update, KDE Applications 17.12.
That’s right, work on KDE Applications 17.12 will start soon, and the release schedule is already online to give us a heads up when we shall expect the final release to be available, as well as the Beta and RC milestones, and all three maintenance updates.
On November 9, the KDE Applications 17.12 software suite will enter dependency freeze development stage, and the first final freeze is set for November 16, when the Beta release hits the streets for public testing. The Release Candidate milestone will land on November 30.
