On March 22, 2016, GNOME developer Andre Klapper published a draft release schedule for the next major version of the GNOME desktop environment, version 3.22.
The release schedule has been posted a day before the launch of GNOME 3.20, which hit the streets on March 23, as expected, bringing dozens of goodies for fans of the open-source desktop environment for GNU/Linux operating systems.
