GNU/Linux developer Arne Exton informs us about the availability of the ExTiX 16.4 operating system for 64-bit PCs, a release that brings numerous updated components and technologies from both Debian and Ubuntu worlds.
Based on the Debian GNU/Linux 8.5 “Jessie,” Debian GNU/Linux 9 “Stretch” and Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS (Xenial Xerus) operating systems, ExTiX 16.4 Build 160731 uses the latest KDE 4.15 Development Platform together with KDE Frameworks 5.18.0 and Linux kernel 4.6.4.

Extract ubuntu-kernel-64bit-4.6.0-9-exton.7z with the command “7za x ubuntu-kernel-64bit-4.6.0-9-exton.7z” (without quotes),” says Arne Exton.
