The world of mini-PCs already includes several high-profile names, such as the Mac Mini, but when it comes to Linux, customers have very limited choices here.
Purism, a company that has already impressed with its Librem lineup of devices, is ready to enter the mini-PC fight with a new device called Librem Mini and supposed to offer all the benefits of its other products but packed in a smaller form factor.
So today, we’ll be providing you with a closer look at Librem Mini in a way that could help you decide whether it’s worth the money or not.
Dimensions
First of all, just how mini is this mini PC? According to Purism, the device measures 12.8cm (5.0 inches) x 12.8cm (5.0 inches) x 3.8cm (1.5 inches) and tips the scales at 1 kg (2.2 pounds).
While we don’t have a banana for scale, the Librem Mini is a little bit smaller than an Apple Mac Mini and slightly bigger than a Raspberry Pi.
