Simon Lees from the Enlightenment project announced this past week the general availability of yet another bugfix and stability release for the Enlightenment 0.21 desktop environment stable series.
Enlightenment 0.21.7 is now the most stable version of the desktop environment/window manager, which is used with success on many popular GNU/Linux distributions, and a total of 45 changes have been included in this update to improve various components and offer users a more stable Enlightenment experience.
Among the components that received attention in this update, we can mention the file manager, theme, xsettings, compositor, notifications, PulseAudio sound mixer, as well as the tiling and evry modules. The update also reverts the “attempt to re-set wl surface pointer when popping back to “default” pointer type” change from a previous version.
