Hello everyone, on this post you will learn some new features for the newly released Microsoft Word rival on the Linux System, LibreOffice!
A new minor release of the hugely popular open-source office suite LibreOffice has been made available for immediate download.
LibreOffice 4.3.3, the third minor update in the 4.3.x series and the first since the September release of 4.3.2, comes packed with plenty of stability and performance fixes, but no major new features to sing of.
Among the 62 bug fixes making up the bulk of this release are some notable highlights, including:
- Local image file URLs can now be embedded in documents
- Support for pasting text into input fields
- Crash fix when exporting file to PDF with footnotes in tables
- Crash fix when adding new macro library
A full list can be viewed on the LibreOffice Wiki page for the release candidate.

Also being released alongside 4.3.3 is the final minor update in the 4.2 family, LibreOffice 4.2.7. Combined, The Document Foundation say there are more than 200 bug fixes and stability patches, and advise all users to update to get the best functionality.
Installers for LibreOffice 4.3.3 and 4.2.7 can be found on the official project website.
