Hello everyone, how are you all doing today? Any of you heard of Podcasts for Linux? Before you answer that, know that ‘Podcasts’ is actually a new app that was just released a few days ago for Ubuntu/Linux users. I wish the creators/programmers of this app would have thought of a better and more unique name.
I won’t be surprised if one day they change the name to this app. How can you honestly name an app ‘Podcasts’? Smh, you can imagine the issues people will probably run into when they are googling it.
What Is The Podcasts App About?
Podcasts is an app that allows you to play all of your favorite podcasts on Ubuntu or other Linux platforms. It is a natively built Linux app so you will find it working as expected without major issues. It also looks great on any Ubuntu theme you are using thanks to the creators being clever and utilizing the omnipresent play bar that stays with you when you are using other apps etc Podcasts is a GNOME Podcast Client so another win for us GNOME fans! I won’t waste any more of your time, go ahead and try it out below. You can choose to install it manually or with a simple click if you prefer/use Flathub which we highly recommend you should try.
