I have been playing this game for than 24 hours, I think I have put in about 5 hours into it since I bought it yesterday or the day before. The game is interesting, I must say, it’s not necessary the type of game I would even try and certainly not spend my money on it but after getting an email about it about from a fan about a 2 weeks ago, I decided what the heck, let me see what the fuss is all about. The game’s graphics first made me do a long pause but after going where the juice is, the gameplay, everything started to make sense, even the 2D graphics made sense once you got the hang of the game. In Barotrauma, you take the reins of a member of a submarine crew who embarks on a perilous exploration of Europa, one of Jupiter’s moons. Your mission involves mining resources, defending against fearsome creatures, and fixing your vessel when it inevitably sustains damage. While you have the option to play solo with AI-controlled teammates, the heart of the game lies in multiplayer mode where you collaborate with both friends and strangers online to endure the challenges that await. If you are looking for a game that keeps you guessing who is who and what is making that noise in the basement of your submarine, this game might be for you.
