Chapeau Linux developer Vince Pooley is back in action after being away the entire year, and it looks like his preparing to launch a new version of the Fedora-based GNU/Linux distribution.
Chapeau 23 “Armstrong” was announced back in December 2015, and we haven’t heard a word from the developer since then, and now he wrote an informative blog post to let us know that Chapeau 24 is coming along nicely and, as expected, will be based on the Fedora 24 operating system. And it even has a codename: Cancellara!
“Chapeau 24 is on its way and unlike previous releases of Chapeau, this release has taken a long time after the latest release of Fedora 24 to surface, and I’m guessing some users may be curious as to why,” says Vince Pooley. “Chapeau releases are codenamed after legendary cyclists and Chapeau 24 is named in honor of Fabian Cancellara.”
