Jeff Hoogland, developer and creator of the Ubuntu-based Bodhi GNU/Linux operating system, informs the community about a few important facts related to the upcoming Bodhi 4.0.0 release.
Back in March 2016, we reported on the availability of the Bodhi 3.2.0 update of the GNU/Linux distribution, as well as on the fact that development has started on the next major version, Bodhi 4.0.0, which is expected to hit the streets sometime in the month of August.
Since then, we heard nothing from Jeff Hoogland and the development progress of Bodhi 4.0.0, which will be based on Canonical’s Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) operating system, but not it looks like a pre-release Alpha version should happen soon, around the date of July 18, after EFL (Enlightenment Foundation Libraries) 1.18 hits Alpha stage of development.
