Zbigniew Konojacki informs Softpedia today about the general availability of BakAndImgCD 21.0, a new major build of his independently-developed 4MLinux fork designed for data backup and disk imaging operations.
Based on the 4MLinux 21.0 backup scripts, BakAndImgCD 21.0 is here to help you perform data backup tasks on a Linux, macOS, or Windows computer, supporting the Btrfs, EXT2, EXT3, EXT4, XFS, Reiser4, ReiserFS, JFS, F2FS, NILFS2, HFS, HFS+, FAT16, FAT32, or NTFS filesystem.
The tiny Linux-based Live CD can also be used for disk imaging operations, as it’s bundled with the Partclone, Partimage, and GNU ddrescue utilities, which can be used for saving and restoring used blocks on a disk partition, as well as copy data from one file or block device to another.
