4MLinux developer Zbigniew Konojacki has informed Softpedia today, May 21, 2016, about the launch of an updated version of his open-source, standalone Antivirus Live CD project.
Now that the development of the 4MLinux 18.0 operating system is open, the developer will attempt to rebase all of his Live CD projects to the upcoming OS, including Antivirus Live CD, which is now at version 18.0-0.99.2, based on 4MLinux 18.0 Beta and built around the ClamAV 0.99.2 open-source antivirus software.
For those who are not in the known, Antivirus Live CD is exactly what its name suggests, a bootable, Live ISO image that includes good, standalone antivirus software to help you clean your PCs of viruses, no matter if it’s a Microsoft Windows or Linux-based computer.
