Users of the GeckoLinux distribution are in for yet another treat after the announcement of updated GeckoLinux 421.160623.0 “Rolling” Editions based on the latest openSUSE Tumbleweed snapshots.
And this time, the GeckoLinux developer has managed to update all the “Static” Editions based on the latest package versions available in the openSUSE Leap 42.1 software repositories as of June 27, 2016.
We told you yesterday, when we wrote our first story about GeckoLinux, that the entire project aims to boost the adoption of the openSUSE Linux operating system, no matter if we’re talking about Tumbleweed or Leap series, on personal computers.
