Kovid Goyal released yet another weekly update of his popular, cross-platform, and open-source Calibre ebook library management software for all supported platforms, including GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows.
Calibre 2.68 is now the latest stable version of the applications, but it’s not as big as expected when talking about new features. In fact, the only new functionality implemented in Calibre 2.68 is an option in the Preferences -> Tweaks setting to allow users to have control over the list of servers the app uses as public email servers.
The rest of the changes included in Calibre 2.68 are bug fixes, for all sort of issues reported by users since last week’s Calibre 2.67 release of previous versions. Fixes problems include those for a regression with the connect server that didn’t allow OPDS feeds to work correctly, and a book author validation problem.
