4MLinux developer and founder Zbigniew Konojacki is informing Softpedia today about the release and immediate availability for download of the Beta version of the upcoming 4MParted 22.0 open-source disk partitioning live OS.
4MParted is a freely distributed live system that users can deploy on a USB flash drive or CD/DVD disc and use it independently of the operating system installed on a personal computer to manipulate partitions. The Beta release of the upcoming 4MParted 22.0 version is based on 4MLinux 22.0 and GParted 0.28.1.
“4MParted is a very small live CD designed for disk partitioning. It’s a part of 4MRescueKit, which in turn is one of the three main 4MLinux releases available for download,” said Zbigniew Konojacki in the brief release announcement. “This version includes GParted 0.28.1 and it uses 4MLinux 22.0 as the base system.”
