4MParted 21 Disk Partitioning Live CD Gets Beta Release, Based on GParted 0.26.1

4MLinux developer Zbigniew Konojacki is informing Softpedia today about the Beta release of his upcoming 4MParted 21.0 distribution, a small Live CD that you can use to partition disk drives without having to install any software application or script.

4MParted is a tiny Live CD designed to do a single thing, namely disk partitioning. It’s usually distributed as part of the 4MRescueKit project, which, in turn, is also a Linux distribution, and both are derived from the 4MLinux operating system. As expected, 4MParted 21.0 is based on 4MLinux 21.0.

Both these distros are currently in development, with a Beta image available for early adopters and those who want to help the developer address any issues that might block the final release, due in March 2017. Inside 4MParted 21.0, users will find GParted 0.26.1, the tool used for every single disk partitioning operation.
